Sport, culture, entertainment: in the near and far surroundings of our finca there are numerous possibilities to design and enjoy your vacation. Here we have put together some tips:
In 20 min. one reaches the picturesque village of San Juan de los Terreros. The surf school there “Paddle surf” offers not only the rental of boards but also introductions to surf-paddling at moderate prices. The sea is clear and it’s fun to stand on the board and sail around the small island in front of Terreros.
About half an hour away from us is the water park Aquavera near the town of the same name. The park has 10 different tracks. Great fun for the whole family. The admission prices are a bit cheaper online than at the counter on site.
Oasy’s mini Hollywood
About an hour’s drive from us, in the Tabernas Desert, is the “Oasys Mini-Hollywood” theme park. The complex consists of one of the last remaining western villages and a beautifully landscaped zoological garden. The desert still serves as a backdrop today, where blockbusters such as “Once upon a time in the West”, “Kingdom of Heaven” or “The shoe of Manitu”, among others, were filmed.
The karting circuit of Águilas is not far from our finca. The club’s kart fleet ranges from children’s karts to two-seaters – ideal for smaller children with parents – to the 300 cc bolides. The race track is 800m long with numerous curves. Who will win the race?
Geoda de Pulpí
The crystal cave made of transparent plaster is considered to be the largest of its kind in the world. Part of the facility was recently prepared and opened to the public. A visit that’s worth it! The Geode can be reached from here in just under half an hour.
The Sierra Espuña – the largest contiguous forest area in the Region of Murcia – can be reached in less than an hour. A beautiful natural paradise that invites you to go on long hikes. With a bit of luck and mindfulness, you may come across a herd of mouflons.
One of the typical white villages of Andalusia – Mojácar – can be reached in less than an hour. It is recommended to use the morning for a visit and to enjoy lunch in the small town if you want to; between 2 and 5 p.m. approximately the shops are beeing closed for siesta.
In about 45 min. you’re in Cartagena. The port city, which was shaped by the Romans, is ideal for a day trip with sightseeing. The city can look back on a long and eventful history. The influences of the Romans can still be seen in many places, such as the famous Roman Amphitheater.
